PARMA, NY – A man form Lockport was killed and another was taken into custody following a suspected drunk driving accident in Parma on Sunday.
According to WKBW, the collision occurred when 32-year-old James E. Jacobs was heading the wrong way on Route 104 in Parma and slammed head-on into another vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle that was hit, 52-year-old Stephen Kneeland, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Police say he was driving home form his son’s swim meet with his family in another vehicle close by.
Jacobs was arrested and charged with DWI and vehicular manslaughter.
