Pedestrian fatally struck by motorcycle in Rockville Centre

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY – A man was killed when he was hit by a motorcycle in Rockville Centre on Saturday night.

According to News 12 The Bronx, the crash occurred when the 42-year-old victim was crossing Merrick Road near Forest Avenue and he was hit by the motorcyclist.

The motorcycle then skidded out of control and struck a nearby Honda Civic.

Both the pedestrian and the 36-year-old motorcyclist were transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition. The pedestrian succumbed to their injuries a short time later.
