TRENTON, NY – A woman died in a collision after failing to stop at a stop sign in Trenton on Sunday afternoon, according to syracuse.com.
State Police say that the incident occurred just before 3:30 p.m. on Prospect Road when 29-year-old Shyneisia M. Johnson, of Whitesboro, drove through a stop sign. 49-year-old Donald G. Robinson Jr., of Sherrill, was heading west on State Route 365 when his vehicle struck Johnson’s on the driver’s side.
Johnson was killed in the collision, while Robinson was treated for injuries at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident.
