Motorcyclist killed in crash in Rochester

ROCHESTER, NY – According to News 8 WROC, a motorcyclist in his 20s was killed in a crash on Mount Read Boulevard in Rochester on Wednesday.

Authorities say the crash took place shortly after 10:00 p.m. on the 1400 block of Mount Read Boulevard. The motorcyclist was travelling southbound on the roadway when he collided with a Volkswagon that was also heading southbound. The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time.

The motorcyclist was killed in the impact and pronounced dead at the scene. The condition of the Volkswagon driver is currently unkown.

Police continue to investigate this incident.
