NEW YORK CITY, NY – According to Total Traffic NYC, a crash took place on the Staten Island Expressway on I-278 EB in Staten Island on Sunday afternoon.

The crash was reported shortly before 4:30 p.m. at Exit 7 for Richmond Avenue. The left eastbound lane of the expressway was blocked and traffic was stopped back to the NJ side of the interstate following the incident.
