Narrative
ROCHESTER, NY – According to WHAM13 News, a pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a driver in Rochester on Thursday.
The crash was reported shortly before 3:00 p.m. near the intersection of West Ridge Road and Dewey Avenue. Authorities say a 34-year-old man was crossing Ridge Road when he was struck by a vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn onto Ridge Road from the northbound lanes of Dewey Avenue.
The pedestrian was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to Strong Hospital for treatment.
