Narrative
BRONX, NY – According to ABC7 News, one person was killed and another was injured after being struck by a motorcyclist in the Bronx on Wednesday.
The crash was reported around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Pelham Parkway and Williamsbridge Road. Authorities say a 72-year-old female pedestrian was crossing Pelham when she was struck by a 44-year-old male motorcyclist. The motorcyclist then hit a 17-year-old girl who was standing on the sidewalk nearby.
All three people involved were injured in the accident and were transported to Jacobi Hospital for treatment. The 72-year-old woman was later pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital. The teenage girl and the motorcyclist both sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
