Narrative
ITHACA, NY – According to WSYR News, one person was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Ithaca on Wednesday.
The crash was reported shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday night. Authorities say a driver of a 2020 Ford Explorer was heading south on an unidentified road when they drifted out of their lane and crashed into a 2015 Honda Fit. The Ford then ricocheted into the northbound lane and struck a 2007 Lexus.
The driver of the Ford was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to Upstate University Hospital, where they later died from their injuries. The driver of the Lexus was also injured and transported to the hospital for treatment, but remains in stable condition. No occupants of the Honda were injured in the incident.
