Narrative
QUEENS, NY – According to ABC7 News, a construction contract worker was killed after being struck by a driver on Grand Central Parkway in Queens on Wednesday morning.
The crash was reported shortly before 10:15 a.m. near Northern Boulevard. Authorities say the 36-year-old contractor was working on a project site on the side of Grand Central Parkway when he was struck by an out-of-control driver.
The victim was transported to New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital for treatment following the accident, where he was later pronounced dead.
