Narrative

WEST SENICA, NY – A head-on crash in West Seneca claimed the life of a man from Elma on Monday morning.

Police say the crash occurred at about 5:30 a.m. when a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Zachary Poisson crossed the center line on Clinton Street near French Road and slammed head-on into another vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle, 49-year-old David Sion, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.

Poisson was rushed to a local hospital with minor injuries. Investigators say he had several outstanding warrants.
