Narrative
NEW YORK, NY – A 26-year-old man died on Sunday evening from injuries sustained when his motorcycle collided with two SUVs at a busy Queens intersection.
The incident happened around 6:25 p.m. at the intersection of Ditmars Boulevard and 31st Avenue, which is just west of Grand Central Parkway and north of Astoria Boulevard.
The investigation indicates that the southbound motorcyclist struck a BMW SUV as the latter vehicle attempted to turn left from Ditmars onto 31st Avenue. The force of the collision threw the motorcyclist from his bike and into a second SUV, which was headed north on Ditmars.
The motorcyclist, identified as Chris Guachichulca, died after transport to a hospital in Queens.

The investigation is ongoing.
