Narrative
BROOKLYN, NY – Two bus drivers and three passengers went to the hospital Tuesday afternoon after a car crashed into two MTA buses in Brooklyn.
The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. in the area of Avenue N and McDonald Avenue, which is just west of Ocean Parkway in the Midwood area.
Officials say that a speeding vehicle collided with the two MTA buses while fleeing police. It’s unclear why police were pursuing the vehicle.
Both the driver and passenger in the vehicle sustained injuries. Additionally, five people total from the two MTA buses were hospitalized with injuries of unknown severity.
