COLESVILLE, NY – One person died, and two sustained injuries Monday in a single-vehicle collision at an intersection in southeastern Montgomery County.
The incident occurred around 4:40 p.m. in the area of Welton Street and Still Road, which is west of NY-79 and the Susquehanna River.
Police say that a vehicle carrying three occupants, possibly teenagers, crashed into a tree.
The reason for the collision is still under investigation, and authorities have not released the victim’s identity to the public.
