BROOKLYN, NY – At least seven people were hurt in a multi-vehicle collision along Belt Parkway in Brooklyn last Saturday, November 18th.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection with Knapp Street, which is just north of Lew Fidler Park.
The investigation indicates that an eastbound Infiniti sedan struck a Mercedes on the Belt Parkway. The initial accident then caused an SUV to collide with four additional vehicles after running over the median.
Medics took at least seven people to the hospital, two with potentially serious injuries.
Police are still looking for the driver of the Infiniti, who fled from the scene of the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
