QUEENS, NY – A two-vehicle collision along a busy intersection in Queens killed one man and injured another on Monday night.
The incident occurred just after 8 p.m. at the intersection of South Conduit Avenue and Guy R. Brewer Boulevard, which is in the Springfield Gardens area, just south of Belt Parkway.
The investigation indicates that a southbound Dodge pickup truck crashed into a Chevy sedan, causing the latter driver fatal injuries. Authorities identified the victim as Fitz H. Slowe.
Medics transported the 30-year-old driver of the Dodge to a local hospital with non-critical injuries.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
