Narrative

WALWORTH, NY – A 62-year-old man died, and three people went to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in Walworth.

The incident happened just before 4:20 p.m. in the area of Route 441 and Canandaigua Road, which is just east of the Tri-County Sports Complex and The Ballroom at Carey Lake.

Police say that a northbound vehicle collided with a westbound car in the intersection. The collision killed the driver of the latter vehicle. Authorities have not yet released his identity to the public.

Medics transported a female passenger from the westbound vehicle to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

Two teen passengers from the northbound vehicle also went to the hospital with minor injuries.
