Narrative
THE BRONX, NY – A 21-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl died when the vehicle in which they were passengers crashed into a parked truck in The Bronx Sunday.
The accident occurred around 3:28 a.m. near the intersection of Bryant Avenue and Viele Avenue, which is east of Barretto Point Park in the Hunts Park area.
Police say that the 23-year-old driver of a white Chrysler 300 was stunt-driving shortly before losing control of the vehicle and crashing at a high rate of speed into an empty parked truck.
The victims died after transport to a local hospital.
Another passenger, a 17-year-old female, went to the hospital in critical condition. The driver of the Chrysler went to the hospital in stable condition.
