BRONX, NY – A 23-year-old and a 20-year-old died Saturday when a two-vehicle accident caused a car to hit a subway column in the Bronx.
The initial collision involved a BMW and a Nissan and occurred around 4 a.m. at Jerome Avenue and Fordham Road. This is just east of Devoe Park.
Medics transported three people from the Nissan to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Two people from the BMW died from injuries sustained in the collision. Authorities have not yet released their names.
