QUEENSBURY, NY – A 47-year-old woman died on Tuesday after a vehicle struck her at a busy intersection in Queensbury.
The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Big Boom Road, which is in the West Glens Falls area.
Police say that a dark-colored sedan with possible damage to its front end or undercarriage fled the scene after hitting the woman. She died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
