HEMPSTEAD, NY – A 36-year-old man died, and two people went to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash along the Meadowbrook State Parkway in Hempstead.
The incident happened at 8 p.m. on the northbound side of the highway near Hempstead Turnpike, which is just southwest of Eisenhower Park.
The investigation indicates that a Porsche overturned after striking both a Toyota and a Nissan.
The driver of the Porsche, identified as Michael Brown Jr., died at the scene of the accident.
Medics transported the driver of the Toyota along with a passenger to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under review with police.
