WHITE CREEK, NY – Two women died Wednesday in a head-on crash along the highway in White Creek.

The incident happened around 6:11 a.m. on NY-22 just south of Grandma Moses Road.

Police say that for unknown reasons, a vehicle entered the wrong side of the highway and collided with a second vehicle.

Both drivers died in the crash. Authorities identified the victims as 29-year-old Tricia A. Daigneault and 39-year-old Shumeka A. Mentor.
