OXFORD, NY – A man died Wednesday after a two-vehicle collision in central Chenago County.
The incident happened in the evening at the intersection of County Road 35 and NY-220 in the city of Oxford.
Police say that a southbound vehicle failed to heed a traffic sign or signal and collided with a westbound vehicle.
The driver of the westbound vehicle, identified as Raymond L. Smith, died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Two people from the other vehicle went to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
