NORTH HUDSON, NY – A 19-year-old man died Tuesday afternoon after an SUV struck him along the interstate in North Hudson.
The accident occurred around 3 p.m. on I-87 near exit 29, which is just northwest of Frontier Town Theme Park.
Police say the victim was attempting to enter I-87 on his motorcycle when he lost control and veered into a neighboring lane in the path of a Subaru Forrester. The Subaru struck the motorcyclist, who died at the scene.
Authorities identified the victim as Brock Pynes.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the crash.
