Narrative

BROOKLYN, NY – One adult and two children died Saturday in a pedestrian crash caused by a two-vehicle collision in Brooklyn.

The accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. at Ocean Parkway and Quentin Road in the Midwood area. This is just north of Ocean Parkway Malls and southeast of Colonel David Marcus Playground.

Police say that an Audi sedan rear-ended a Toyota Camry at the intersection. The Camry then struck a 34-year-old woman and her three kids in the crosswalk.

The woman and two of the three kids died at the hospital. Authorities identified the woman as Natasha Saada.

Medics transported one of the child pedestrians to the hospital with critical injuries. Two adults and three children from the Camry went to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver that caused the accident, identified as 32-year-old Miriam Yarimi, was hospitalized with unknown injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
