Narrative
BROOKLYN, NY – A hit-and-run driver fatally struck a woman at the intersection of Shell Road, Shore Parkway, and West Sixth Street in Brooklyn Friday morning.
Witnesses reported that a dump truck, while making a left turn onto Shell Road, collided with a woman, pinning her beneath the vehicle. The victim was then struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Both vehicles immediately fled.
The victim, a 75-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, seeking to locate the drivers responsible for the hit-and-run.
