BROOKLYN, NY – WABC reports that a car jumped a curb in Brooklyn and struck three pedestrians, including two children, on Wednesday.
Authorities say the incident took place around 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, near the intersection of St. John Place and Nostrand Avenue. A 45-year-old driver of a Honda SUV was turning onto Nostrand Avenue from St. John Place, and in an effort to avoid another car on the road, jumped the curb with his vehicle, striking a 43-year-old man, a 9-year-old boy, and an 11-year-old boy.
The three victims sustained injuries in the incident, and were transported to Methodist Hospital for treatment.
Police continue to investigate.
