ROCHESTER, NY – A 20-year-old male motorcyclist died on Monday in a crash with a school bus in Rochester.
The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Lake Avenue and Burley Road, which is just north of Riverside Cemetery.
With regards to the circumstances of the accident, police have said only that the motorcycle crashed into the school bus and that the biker sustained fatal injuries. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
None of the children on the school bus were hurt in the collision.
Officials closed Lake Avenue for over two hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
