SYRACUSE, NY – According to Syracuse.com, a crash on Interstate 690 EB left multiple people injured in Syracuse on Monday.
Authorities say the crash took place around 12:30 a.m. near Exit 15 for Midler Avenue on I-690. The cause of the crash is currently unknown.
First responders on the scene found that one vehicle had rolled over in the crash, trapping one woman inside. That woman was extricated from her vehicle. Another woman involved sustained serious injuries and was transported to Upstate University Hospital for treatment. She remains in critical condition.
The eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed for about three hours following the crash. Police continue to investigate this incident.
