RIDGEWAY, NY – A 64-year-old woman died Thursday after a tw0-vehicle crash along a highway in west-central Orleans County.

The incident occurred around 3:10 p.m. at NY-104 and Knowlesville Road, which is near Orleans Produce Auction and Two Pines Greenhouse.

Police say a westbound vehicle struck the victim’s northbound vehicle when she entered the intersection after pausing at a stop sign.

Authorities identified the deceased as Sandra Gapa of Lyndonville.

No other injuries have been mentioned in connection to the accident.
