CAMILLUS, NY – According to Syracuse.com, a driver heading the wrong way on Route 695 caused a head-on crash in Camillus on Friday.
Authorities say the crash took place shortly after 9:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Route 695, near State Route 5. A driver was travelling in the wrong direction on State Route 695 and collided with at least one other vehicle head-on.
First responders on the scene say two people were trapped in their vehicles following the crash. A total of three people involved sustained injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Police continue to investigate this incident.
